Our services are designed to meet the diverse needs of our students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and personally. Whether you're looking for academic support, financial assistance, or specialized services, our offices are here to help you navigate your college experience and achieve your goals. Below are the various student support programs available:
- Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA)
Designed for students of all backgrounds to explore identity and build community through an Asian American studies lens. - CalWORKs
Provides educational counseling, cash aid, and support services to help students pursue a certificate, degree, or transfer program that aligns with their career goals. - Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)
Supports the unique needs of single-parent students who receive Cash Assistance or TANF as part of the Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS). - Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS)
Helps students with permanent and temporary documented disabilities access college-level courses for degree, transfer, certificate programs, and career advancement. - Dreamer Resources
Supports Undocumented, DACAmented, and students from mixed-status families with direct support from EOPS, Financial Aid, and additional resources. - Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS)
Offers support services and grants to students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, many of whom are first-generation college students. - Honors Program
Provides highly motivated students with the opportunity to engage in advanced levels of critical thinking, research, writing, and communication, with recognition at graduation. - International Student Center
Provides services to F-1 visa students, including international admissions, counseling, and immigration advising. - Math Engineering Science Achievement (MESA)
Supports transfer-motivated students in STEM fields to advance their educational journeys in four-year university programs and beyond. - Puente Project
Assists underrepresented Latinx students in transferring to four-year colleges and universities, with a focus on Latinx culture. - Promise Program
Offers financial and academic support to first-time, full-time students, including free tuition, textbook assistance, counseling, and career support, helping students stay on track and graduate on time. - TRIO & TRIO STEM
Federally funded programs that provide assistance for students underrepresented in higher education, focusing on academic success and retention. - Veterans (VALOR Center)
Supports military veterans, active-duty military, Reserves, and their qualifying dependents with resources to succeed in college. - Umoja Community
Empowers and motivates African-American students and other students from disproportionately impacted populations to excel academically through community engagement, cultural empowerment, and culturally responsive pedagogy.
