- Academic Accommodation Plan (AAP): A confidential document outlining your approved accommodations to share with instructors.
- Test-Taking Accommodations: If approved, complete a test form at least three business days before your exam.
- Alternative Media: Request text in alternative formats like e-text or braille.
- Assistive Technology: Access technology tools to support your learning.
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services: Receive in-person and virtual American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and captioning services.
- Adaptive Furniture: Request customized furniture to meet your needs after submitting your AAP request.

DSPS Tutoring and Support
We offer tutoring services tailored to students with disabilities. Approved students can access drop-in tutoring at Campus Center 240. For tutoring hours and subjects, contact DSPS for more information.

In addition to the core DSPS services, Mission College offers several additional resources to help you succeed:
- Learning Services Department: Enroll in courses to enhance your writing, math, and technology skills.
- Adaptive Kinesiology Classes: Take physical education courses designed for students with physical or mental challenges, such as adapted weight training and aerobics.

How to Join
- Apply to Mission College: Begin by visiting our Become a Student page for important application information.
- Complete the DSPS Application: Submit your DSPS application and watch our video tutorial for guidance.
- Gather Disability Verification Documentation: Provide appropriate documentation (e.g., IEP, 504 Plan, medical reports) to verify your disability.
- Schedule a Counseling or Advising Appointment: Once your application and documents are reviewed, a DSPS staff member will contact you to schedule an intake appointment.
