EOPS and Its Support Programs
The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) at Mission College provides essential support to students facing educational and economic challenges. Under the EOPS umbrella, specialized programs like NextUp, CARE, and CalWORKs offer tailored resources to specific student groups:
NextUp
NextUp supports former and current foster youth with academic counseling, financial assistance, and more.
CARE
CARE helps single parents receiving public assistance with additional services like tutoring, priority registration, and financial support.
CalWORKs
CalWORKs offers resources to students who are parents and receiving public assistance, including child care support, job placement services, and academic counseling.
Together, these programs work to ensure that all EOPS-eligible students have the resources they need to succeed at Mission College.
