La Misión Colectiva

La Misión Colectiva is a dedicated grassroots collective of faculty, staff, and administrators at Mission College who proudly identify as Chicana/o/Latina/o. Together, we are committed to fostering a vibrant cultural presence on campus by organizing events that celebrate the rich traditions, histories, and contributions of the Chicanx/Latinx community.

Our mission extends beyond event planning; we aim to create spaces for dialogue, connection, and empowerment. These events not only honor our shared heritage but also inspire students and the broader community to engage with and embrace cultural diversity.

We enthusiastically welcome Mission College and MECHS students to join us—whether in brainstorming ideas, coordinating efforts, or attending events. By working together, we can cultivate a sense of belonging and unity while highlighting the beauty and strength of our cultura.
