Prioritization of Research Requests
To ensure that we meet the most critical needs of the campus community, research requests are prioritized according to the following guidelines:
- Internal requests (from Mission College and WVMCCD) will be given higher priority than requests from external sources.
- Projects related to state and federal requirements will be prioritized.
- Educational success and curriculum improvement projects are given top consideration.
- Presidential or Chancellor-assigned projects take precedence.
- Projects tied to external funding and strategic initiatives are prioritized.
- Research linked to college planning activities will be handled with urgency.
By adhering to these prioritization guidelines, we ensure that our resources are aligned with the college’s most pressing strategic goals.
