How to be Added to a Class Waitlist at Mission College
How to Register
You can register for classes on, or after your assigned priority date. To determine your priority date, please refer to the registration information that is e-mailed to you as a continuing student, and check "My Assigned Registration Date(s) under Registration in My Mission Portal.
New and returning students are assigned a registration date after successful processing of an application. Priority Registration is given to students that complete the 3SP steps. See our Event Calendar at Events.MissionCollege.edu or our Academic Calendar for dates related to priority registration.
Student ID Number
You'll need to know your User/Web ID (G0xxxxxxx) and password to access the Portal. Learn more about student ID numbers.
A resident student is one who has been physically present in the state for more than
one year and one day prior to the start of the term they will be attending. A person
capable of establishing residency in California must be able to provide objective
evidence of their eligible immigration status, physical presence in the state of California,
and your intent to make California a permanent home.Residency Requirements
The regular deadline for students to select the pass/no pass (P/NP) grade option for
eligible full-term courses is the last day of instruction of the course. Deadlines

Class Waitlist
Is a class full and you want to get into it at Mission College? Get on the waitlist
and check your WVM email address.
If a 'registered' student drops a class and a space becomes available, eligible waitlist students are e-mailed and texted .
Monitor your waitlist status in the My Mission Portal, under "Manage my Waitlist."

Registration Errors
Add Codes
After the first day of class, students must get an ADD CODE from the instructor in order to add the class. Use ADD CODES, by the add deadline, on the My Mission Portal system to register in class(es).
Audit a Course
Do not register for a class that you wish to audit. As a student, you may audit an eligible course for personal interest, but auditing does not provide course credit. To audit a course, you must meet the audit eligibility criteria. Audit a course.
Dually enrolled high school students in grades 10-12 are required to file an online
application via CCCApply and submit a completed Dual Enrollment Form. In person Dually enrolled students must have a current photo identification at time
