Mission College collaborates closely with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority
(VTA) to open doors to rewarding careers in public transit. In partnership with ATU
Local 265, we offer students dynamic apprenticeship programs where they can gain hands-on
training, earn wages, and build a strong foundation for growth in this essential industry.

to offer apprenticeships, work-study opportunities, and job placement support. We’re
committed to building bridges between education and employment for all students, including
those new to the workforce, re-entering, or shifting careers.

All Mission College apprenticeship programs are designed with inclusion and accessibility
in mind. We ensure our learning environments, tools, and training meet the needs of
a diverse student population. Many of our programs are low-cost or tuition-free, and
some even include paid on-the-job training.
